Dahlia Linocut Print
One of the great joys of summer in our garden is the arrival of the dahlias. Each year, I tuck their tubers into the soil and wait through the long months of watering, weeding, and watching. By midsummer, they're bursting with blooms—bright, intricate flowers that seem almost too beautiful to be real.
This hand-carved linocut print was inspired by the dahlia plants growing just outside my studio, whose blooms fill our home with color from summer through early fall. Their abundance reminds me to slow down, notice what is flourishing around me, and enjoy the beauty of ordinary days.
Printed on 8x10 acid-free paper with oil-based relief ink, this print looks beautiful with the skinny blue stripe hand-painted mat, also available in the shop.
Because each piece is hand-printed, small variations are common.
